POEMET

POEMET is a woman-owned slow-fashion brand from New York with designer silk scarves, twillies, cotton pareos and bags in bold artistic prints. MILEDEVS audited the store's ad tracking: we traced a promo link through redirects, tags and a test order to check whether UTM and GTM parameters reached the Facebook Pixel, and showed that the store itself was passing the data correctly.

AD TRACKING AUDIT

The brand suspected that shoppers arriving from a promo link lost their UTM and GTM parameters, so ad events did not reach the Facebook Pixel correctly. We audited the full path on the live Shopify store.

We followed the promo link through its redirect chain: the myshopify address forwards to poemet.co with every UTM parameter intact, there are no client-side redirects, and collection pages open without extra hops.

PIXEL & GOOGLE TAGS

We checked that the Facebook Pixel and the Google Ads, Google tag and Merchant Center tags are installed, and that Shopify's marketing cookies and the fbclid click ID are kept through the visit.

AUDIT FINDINGS

The store was passing the data correctly. The likely cause of missing attribution was shopper behaviour: closing the tab and coming back later starts a new session without the promo parameters.
