ÉKO '77 is a restaurant group with four restaurants in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and London that also caters weddings, celebrations and corporate events. MILEDEVS moved its site from WordPress to Shopify and built a custom theme around the restaurants, menus, table booking and catering requests.

WORDPRESS TO SHOPIFY

The restaurant group’s site moved from WordPress to a custom Shopify theme: a video hero with booking and catering buttons, brand colours and fonts as editable settings, and every page rebuilt from reusable sections.

Each restaurant has its own block with address, phone, opening times and a live open or closed status worked out in UK time, booking and call buttons, and a sticky bar to jump between locations.

A catering page with packages for corporate events, celebrations and weddings and a native Shopify quote form that pre-fills the chosen package and asks for the date, guests, pickup or delivery and staff on site.

A menu page with a sticky section bar that highlights the current section, and a gallery of the restaurants and dishes that opens in a full-screen lightbox with arrows, swipe and keyboard controls.

MOBILE VERSION

On phones a full-screen menu keeps the table booking and quote buttons at hand, the restaurant bar scrolls sideways between locations, and every page was checked and fixed at phone and tablet widths.
